Since its inaugural event in 2007, GreenTown has received an extensive amount of media coverage on a variety of media platforms throughout the Midwest.

GreenTown Chicago, the fourth installment of GreenTown, proved to be the most successful event to date. Held on October 14-15, 2009 and featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s keynote and the Chicago Climate Action Plan, a capacity crowd was in attendance to learn how to create more sustainable communities.
